What was memorable about the second day of the VII Forum of Guides of Uzbekistan-2024

As part of the VII Forum of Guides of Uzbekistan-2024, which took place from February 21 to 23 in the capital of the republic, round tables were held on topical issues of pilgrimage tourism and museology.

The purpose of the forum and round tables was to discuss the issues of training qualified personnel for excursion activities in the field of tourism and hospitality, which is a strategic sector of the economy of Uzbekistan. The speakers shared their experience, vision and recommendations on improving the education system of guides, as well as on forming a professional community of guides.

During the forum, immersive excursions audio-play-promenade “Tashkent Speaks” were also organized, which allowed guests and participants to immerse themselves in the atmosphere and history of the capital. In addition, excursions-master classes were held for novice guides and teachers who train specialists in the field of excursion activities, where they could get practical skills and advice from experienced colleagues.
