ERASMUS+ CALL FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE MOBILITY PROGRAMME

The International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan announces an internal call for applications for participation in the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme for staff to the University of Bucharest (Romania) within the framework of Project No. 2024-1-RO01-KA171-HED-000217854.

• Philosophy and Ethics (ISCED 0223)

• Sociology and Cultural Studies (ISCED 0314)

Type of mobility

• Staff Mobility for Teaching / Training (TA/STT)

Host institution

• University of Bucharest, Romania

Number of places

• 1 participant

Duration of mobility

• 7 days

• minimum 5 days of physical presence in Bucharest

• up to 2 days may be counted as travel days

Funding

• subsistence allowance – 148 EUR per day of physical presence

• travel grant – 580 EUR (Tashkent – Bucharest – Tashkent)

• funding is provided in accordance with project rules and supporting documents

Eligibility

• academic staff

• administrative staff of the academy

• professional profile corresponds to the announced mobility fields

• working knowledge of English (or the programme working language)

Language requirements

The language proficiency level will be determined based on national and/or international test results (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.), as well as on the results of a written exam and interview conducted at the university.

• motivation letter (goals, expected outcomes, institutional relevance)

• copy of passport

• proof of professional activity in the relevant field

• preliminary Mobility Plan / Teaching or Training Programme

(to be subsequently agreed with the Coordinator at the University of Bucharest)

Selection procedure

• applications are reviewed by the Selection Committee

• open and transparent selection process

• evaluation based on approved Erasmus+ criteria

(academic relevance, quality of Mobility Plan, institutional significance)

Obligations of the selected participant

• agree mobility dates and content with the host faculty coordinator

• complete and sign the Mobility Agreement (Teaching / Training)

• provide valid travel insurance for the entire period

• obtain visa, if required

• submit travel tickets and boarding passes upon completion of mobility

Application deadlines

• application deadline: 01.02.2026 – 12.02.2026

• publication of results: 20.02.2026

Partner university requirements

• full set of documents must be submitted to the University of Bucharest no later than 3 months before the start of mobility

• final deadline for submission – 30 March 2027

• mobility must be completed by 31 July 2027
