Symbol of love and loyalty - a beloved woman

At the moment, events and spiritual-educational meetings are being held across our republic in connection with March 8 - "International Women's Day". For this purpose, an event was held today at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan on the theme "The symbol of love and loyalty - a beloved woman".

At the event organized by the "Classical Eastern Philology" faculty, Muzaffar Komilov, adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uygun Gafurov, rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Committee on Religious Affairs, professors and teachers of the Academy, lyceum and school professors, staff, students and guests took part.

Rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan Uygun Gafurov opened the ceremony with a congratulatory speech. The Rector of the Academy mentioned that national importance is being given to strengthen the role and status of women in society.

Today, 204 women work at the academy. They are carrying on with the family and the affairs of the country and the public at the same time. Half of the students, 1123, are girls. Comfortable conditions have been created for every woman in the academy, and today women who set an example with exemplary behavior giving education to young and own  scientific potential were awarded on the occasion of the holiday.

Poetry performances of creative students of the Academy, dances and songs performed by students of "Ziyo-zukko" educational school left a great impression on every person at the ceremony.
