Muslim Communities International Council Director Gives High Marks to Academy's Work in Religious and Intellectual Field
Today, the director of the Muslim Communities International Council, Khalid Khalifa al-Kaabi, along with Secretary-General Umar Al-Bariki, Protocol Manager Rashid Al-Nuaymi, President of the "Innovative Educators" International Organization Muhammad Al-Obaydli, Vice-President Nasr Orif, and photographer Fahd Jamil, visited the Uzbek International Islamic Academy.
A meeting was held between the leadership of the Academy and the guests in honor of the visit.
During the meeting, the Rector of the Academy, Uygun Gʻafurov, the First Vice-Rector in Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Affairs Ilyos Mirziyotov, the Vice-Rector in Academic Affairs Zokirjon Roʻziyev, the Vice-Rector in Finance and Economics Salim Dusanov, the Director of the Imam Maturidi International Scientific-Research Center Jamoliddin Karimov, the Head of International Cooperation Department Bahodir Khodjayev, translator Akbar Kazakbayev, and the Director of Skills Development Center Husniddin Ahmedov were in attendance.
During the meeting, the Rector of the Academy, Uygun Gʻafurov, provided detailed information about the academic activities, goals, objectives of the Academy, and the centers operating within the Academy. He noted that the Uzbek International Islamic Academy ranked second in the national rankings of higher education institutions based on last year's results and that the professors and lecturers of the higher education institutions ranked first in terms of academic excellence.
Director Khalid Khalifa al-Kaabi expressed his sincere gratitude to the leadership of the Academy for the warm reception and conveyed greetings from Ali Rashid al-Nuaymi, the head of the Muslim Communities International Council, providing detailed information about the Council and its activities.
He particularly acknowledged the attention given to the religious and intellectual field in Uzbekistan.
Rector Uygun Gʻafurov mentioned the presence of the Skills Development Center within the Academy and emphasized the importance of enhancing skills based on educational programs that provide a scientific basis and introduce the true essence of Islam to Imams and state employees.
During the session, the Director of the Skills Development Center, Husniddin Ahmedov, provided detailed information about the center, especially concerning monthly and short-term courses.
Throughout the visit, rare manuscripts kept in the "Sources Treasury" of the Academy and the activities of the Imam Maturidi International Scientific-Research Center were introduced to the guests.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation expressed appreciation for the hospitality and high level of guest service.
