Representatives of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan participated in the autumn tree planting season within the project “Yashil makon”

As you are aware, project “Yashil makon” is initiated by the President of Uzbekistan, during the autumn tree planting season, the representatives of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan have been contributing to mutual cohesion and improvement of the beautiful places of our country.

Autumn tree planting process was organized under the leadership of rector of Academy Uygun Gafurov in the territory belonging to “Orda” neighborhood in Shaikhontohur district.

Representatives of the Academy carried out improvement works in the area. Scenic tree saplings and flowers designed for the autumn-winter season were planted.

With the initiative of the President, planting trees and expanding green areas is becoming a big movement.  In this season 85 million saplings are planned to be planted. By the Forestry agency 200 saplings will be delivered to each neighborhood free of charge.
