The premiere of a historical-artistic film about the life and work of Mahmudhoja Behbudi was held in the Alley of Writers

Mahmudhoja Behbudi is the leader of the Turkestan Jadid movement, a great public figure, thinker, scholar, writer and founder of Uzbek drama. It should be noted that in recent years, extensive work has been done to study the life and work of the enlightener and to promote it among young people, scientific conferences and literary meetings are being held.

One of such events was organized in the Alley of Writers in Tashkent in cooperation with the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and the Cinematography Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan. “BRAND PRO MEDIA” studio screened a historical and feature film about the life and work of Mahmudhoja Behbudi, the founder of Uzbek theater drama. The event was attended by professors, scientists, researchers and students of the Academy.
