AYNUR TIMERKHANOV: "REFORM IN THE FIELD OF RELIGION AND EDUCATION IN UZBEKISTAN DESERVES RECOGNITION"

It is known that the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan is gaining recognition not only in our country, but also internationally as a prestigious institution of higher and scientific education. The scientific potential of the university, the modern conditions created for professors and students, the compliance of the scientific and creative environment with international standards are of great importance. This is probably why today the Academy has 9 well-known foreign professors and teachers, and 31 young students from different countries of the world are studying and conducting research.

In this regard, it is certainly a matter of pride that the youth of our country are also conducting a fundamental scientific study of the scientific and spiritual heritage of Islam and the great scholars. After all, in the new Uzbekistan, which under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has boldly entered a new stage of its development, the foundation of the "Third Renaissance" - the National Awakening, of course, the scientific and spiritual heritage of our great thinkers, hits serve as a source of inspiration, the basis of new scientific achievements. In this regard, it is important that the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan establishes close cooperation with the world's leading centers of science, education and research.

These days, a group of our scientists led by the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Kamilov are on a working visit to the Bulgarian Islamic Academy in the Russian Federation.

Today, a cordial meeting was held between the delegates of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and the rector of the Bulgarian Islamic Academy Aynur Timerkhanov. At the beginning of the meeting, the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Kamilov briefed on the reforms in the field of religion and enlightenment in our country. In particular, among the achievements in education and research at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, the launch of the International Research Center named after Imam Moturidi at the Academy and the research conducted over the past year have aroused great interest among the hosts.

During the heated and cordial talks, many agreements were reached on further expansion of cooperation between the two Academies. In particular, to conduct master's and doctoral research under the auspices of professors and teachers of both Academies, which have their own prestige and scientific potential in the world for the extensive study of Islam and its science, students and young researchers. practical tasks have been set to ensure the systematic exchange of information, the publication of articles on new scientific discoveries and historical sources in their scientific publications.

Delegates of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan continue their business trips to further strengthen cooperation.
