Faculty Exchange Program

International internship activities were held at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Kazakhstan for professors, teachers, and students of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.

The university is one of the leading higher education institutions in Kazakhstan and holds достойные positions in international rankings (QS World University Rankings: 317th place).

The internship was attended by Professor Zebo Qosimova, Head of the Department of Psychology of Religion and Pedagogy; Associate Professors Azamat Nazarov and Murod Saparov; Associate Professor Dilafruz Turdiyeva of the UNESCO Department of Religious Studies and Comparative Study of Religions; as well as undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Psychology.

The internship lasted for one week, during which academic seminars were organized by the Academy’s faculty members for the host university’s professors and students.

Initially, the participants met with Aliya Mambetalina, Head of the Department of Psychology, and Baljan Kalemshariv, Head of the Department of Religious Studies. During the meeting, detailed information was provided about departmental activities, educational and research areas, as well as modern pedagogical and psychological approaches.

In addition, the participants became closely acquainted with the activities of the university’s Psychology Laboratory, where they studied advanced practices related to applied research, psychodiagnostic methods, and research infrastructure.

Within the framework of the meetings, issues of future cooperation were also discussed. In particular, plans were made to expand academic mobility programs among students, establish internship exchange programs, organize research internships for faculty members, and conduct joint scientific and practical research.

This internship plays an important role in strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, facilitating experience exchange and enhancing human resource capacity.
