A scientific-practical conference dedicated to the international Arabic language was held at the Academy As you know, every year December 18th is widely celebrated all over the world as "International Arabic Language Day". By the UN General Assembly in December 1973, the Arabic language was included among the official languages ​​of the organization. At the same time, at the 190th session of the UNESCO organization held in October 2012, at the invitation of Saudi Arabia, 

December 18 was announced as "International Arabic Language Day". On December 18 of this year, this organization celebrated this date as a holiday for the first time. In the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, a conference and various events are traditionally organized every year in connection with this date.

Today, a republican scientific-practical conference was held at the Academy on the topic "The problem of medium language and innovative approach in the modern education of a foreign (Arabic) language".

It should be noted that this conference is organized every year on the initiative of the "Arabic language and literature al-Azhar" department in order to further develop the system of teaching foreign languages ​​in a traditional way, and to educate the young generation as mature people with modern knowledge.

Zahidjon Islamov, vice-rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, opened the conference held by the "Arabic language and literature al-Azhar" department with an introductory speech.

At the conference, "Theoretical problems of the formation of modern methods in teaching a foreign (Arabic) language", "World experience in teaching a foreign (Arabic) language: problems, achievements, shortcomings", "Analysis of the problems of medium language in modern teaching of a foreign (Arabic) language" and "Distance education" Discussions were held on topics such as system development.
