Professional development courses were organized

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Committee on Religious Affairs and the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan have organized upgrading courses.

Officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, tourism professionals, translators and guides, and staff from the ministry's regional offices attend the courses that are being hold online.

In order to organize pilgrimage tourism, the objects of pilgrimage and their classification, the features of working with people of different religions, the development of knowledge and professional competence of pilgrims in our country, these training courses are held.

In this regard, the adoption of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 9, 2021 "On measures to further develop domestic and pilgrimage tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan" is also important.
