“THE IMPORTANCE OF THE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT RELIGION IS INVALUABLE ON THE “PATH” OF SOLVING OF THE WORLD PROBLEMS”

Today, it was held the meeting at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan with the delegation of the International fund   Rosa Luxemburg of the German Federative Republic.

This fund was established in 1990 as the Society of the Analysis of the Spiritual and Social development of citizens and currently it has the Representative Offices all around the world.  From this view point, nowadays,  this fund  is close to the political parties  in the civil society  of Germany and it is considered as  one of the six (6)  funds in the sphere  of education and the spiritual reform.

The members of delegation of the Fund of Rosa  Luxemburg  (together with  its Head of the Representative Office in Central Asia  Her Excellency Marlis Linke) and the members of the Representative Office in the Republic of Kazakhstan (the city of Almaty)   Leyla Muzaparova and Daniyar Kusainov were warmly  welcomed.  

The guests met with His Excellency Rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan Sh.Yovqochev, His Excellency Deputy Rector for the International Cooperation Affairs B. Mamdiev,  His Excellency Deputy Rector for the Scientific Affairs and Innovations  Z. Islomov and the Head of the Department for the International Affairs Z. Toshkhudjaev.

Before the meeting, His Excellency Rector of Academy Sh. Yovqochev welcomed the guests, the emphasis was given to  the active work of the Rosa Luxemburg  Fund, their  education-based and cultural-spiritual projects and in this turn there were as well raised the matters of the aims (purposes) which  are of interest to the Academy.  

During the conversation, Her Excellency Marlis Linkeh presented a gratitude to the administration of the Academy for the warm greeting and welcoming.  Afterwards, the Foundation presented the European-based projects to build understanding and peace between people in today’s era of globalization, as well as to enhance the social status of the population in state and social construction, strengthening  the inter-relationships between them, and promoting social justice and solidarity.

After that, the guests were in details informed  by His Excellency Deputy Rector for the Scientific Affairs and Innovations  Z. Islomov about the active work of Academy, the process of studying of the local and foreign students at the Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate levels, as well as the active work on the issue of the researching and also the participation (involvement)  of the graduates in the governing issues  of the state.     

Indeed, the religious knowledge is seen as completely invaluable in solving  the modern world problems. Due to this fact, “I was absolutely amazed that your Academy studies the religion primarily not only as a faith but also as the incomparable science”-mentioned Her Excellency Marlis Linke. “I consider that your experience of teaching of the contemporary sciences based on the religious sciences will play its major role in development of  a great number of countries”-said her Excellency Marlis Linke.     

At the end of the meeting, the guests had an opportunity to get acquainted with the invaluable spiritual heritage and unique manuscripts of our great thinkers, collected at the “Treasury of Sources”  of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.
