The article tells about the life and work of Ali Qushchi (Kushchi, Kushji), who was one of the most famous and distinguished medieval scholars in Central Asia, and his contribution to science. The article also analyzes the work of Ali Qushchi in the field of Islamic sciences, in particular, the work on “kalam” (Islamic theology). The article gives a general idea that Ali Qushchi is not only an outstanding scholar in the field of secular science, but also possessed sufficient knowledge of Islamic sciences.
