A delegation of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, chaired by the Rector Shukhrat Yovkochev, has reached several agreements on cooperation with Turkey’s leading educational institutions.
During the visit to Turkey, IIAU Rector Dr. Shukhrat Yovkochev got acquainted with the activities of Ankara University, especially Faculty of Divinity. And, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was also signed by the parties, International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan and Ankara University.
Ankara University (Ankara Üniversitesi) is one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey. And, it is also recognized as one of the top universities in the world. Ankara University provides education through associate (two-year) degree programs, and undergraduate (bachelor degree) programs through its 18 faculties, 14 institutes, 49 research and application centres, 10 vocational schools, 1 college and a state conservatory. More than 65,000 students graduate every year as they are taught by more than four thousand professors and teachers.
